PacsWorks Archive
Keep imaging data independent of any single PACS.
Any PACS, viewer or application retrieves through DICOM and DICOMweb, whichever tier a study is on.
What it does
PacsWorks Archive is a vendor-neutral archive. It holds every department’s images in standard DICOM, so applications can change around it without moving the data.
Vendor-neutral by design
Images are stored in standard DICOM, so you can replace a PACS without migrating the archive.
Tiered retention
Recent studies sit on fast storage; older studies move to nearline and long-term tiers by policy.
Migration with reconciliation
Legacy archives are moved study by study, with counts reconciled before the old system is retired.
One repository for many departments
Radiology, cardiology and other imaging departments can share one archive.
Integrity checks
Scheduled verification confirms that stored objects are complete and readable.
Open retrieval
Any DICOM or DICOMweb client can query and retrieve from the archive.
